Medica S.p.A. is pleased to announce the official inauguration of the new headquarters in China of Medico MedTech, a Chinese company with a participation of Medica S.p.A., on 26th July 2024 in Zhangjiagang. The ceremony represented a moment of great importance for our company, marking a further step forward in our international expansion strategy and the consolidation of our presence in the Asian market.

The inauguration event was attended by the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Mayor of the City of Jinfeng, Mr. Li GangQiang, the Director of the Economic Services Bureau of the Jiangsu Yangtze River International Metallurgical Industry Park of the City of Jinfeng, Mr. Huang Jianhao, and the President of the Medicore Group, Mr. John Zhou. In addition to the local authorities, partners and distributors of Medica S.p.A. and Medico MedTech as well as members of the Medica management team attended.

Among those present, the President of Medica S.p.A., Mr. Luciano Fecondini, expressed his enthusiasm for this new adventure: "The opening of the Medico MedTech headquarters represents a milestone in our company history. This will allow us to be even closer to our Asian customers and to respond in a timely and personalised manner to their needs".

The new facility will be a further hub for production and distribution activities for the Asian market, guaranteeing high standards of quality and innovation, distinctive features of Medica S.p.A. This investment reflects our long-term commitment to the region and our confidence in the growth potential of the medical sector in China and neighbouring countries.

The inauguration was followed by a guided tour of the new facilities, during which guests had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the advanced technologies and manufacturing processes employed by Medico MedTech.

With the opening of this new facility, Medica S.p.A. further strengthens its leading position in the medical technology sectorand confirms its mission to improve the quality of life through innovative and reliable solutions.
