Like the Diapure® filters, MEDiaPure® filters use the same Medisulfone® membrane (MWCO 15 Kda - 0.005 µm) since they are designed to produce ultra-pure water for various medical applications:
- on centralised water treatment plants (reverse osmosis or other purification technologies)
- on dialysis centre water loop sampling points
- as a replacement for filters normally installed in dialysis machines, with significant cost optimisation due to improved lifetime performance
- in the purification of domestic hot water, a major source of bacterial growth and contamination in hospitals, private clinics, nursing homes, etcetera
